High Season (December - April)
High season is the busy season in Sámara. During these months the days will transition from rainy to dry with blue skies nearly every day. Restaurants will be busier and some may require advanced reservations. Advance planning for other activities is also recommended. This season is full of celebrations and holidays.

Green Season (May - November)
Green season is the quieter season in Sámara. During this time of year the days will transition from hot and dry to rainy afternoons and occasional rainy days. Prices tend to be a little lower, crowds a bit thinner, and some restaurants and shops may temporarily be closed.

Casa Cavalier is our family home, and we invite you to enjoy and treat it as if you were a part of our family.
Housekeeping is included for an additional fee (multi-month rentals include monthly cleaning).
Sámara is a very special place cherished by locals and visitors alike. You are encouraged to meet local residents, practice the language, and embrace the pure vida lifestyle. Expect natural beauty, an amazing adventure, respectful encounters with wildlife, and the occasional power outage.
Up to 2 small to medium dogs will be considered with prior approval. An additional pet fee will apply. The yard is fully fenced. No other pets allowed.

Casa Cavalier is located in the lovely village of Santo Domingo, a 10 to 15 minute drive above Playa Sámara. A 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended.
